Katrina joined Parkinson's Boxing after witnessing her father-in-law's battle with Parkinson's Disease. She graduated from Canisius University with a degree in Biology. Her biggest accomplishment has been raising her five children with her husband. Katrina enjoys endurance racing, completing the Buffalo Marathon, the Beast of Burden 50 Mile Ultra Marathon (in the dead of winter!), the CassadagaMan 70.3 triathlon, and becoming an Ironman after completing Ironman Arizona.
Katrina believes that keeping active is the key to physical and mental health and loves what the Parkinson's Boxing program does to improve the well-being of its clients.






















I was around 58 when my thumb started giving me problems. As time passed, I had other symptoms: hand tremors, restless sleep, muscle weakness, cognitive decline, voice spasms, and a stiff, achy right arm and ankle.
